Sprucewoods
The Sprucewoods Business park recently underwent a significant transformation, resulting in a complete exterior renovation. Manulife engaged Pinpoint to oversee the strategy and implement a unified wayfinding and branding program for the park.
The park lacked wayfinding, branding and building identification. Consisting of three main single-level office buildings and three entries off two main throughways, the overarching goal of this reinvigoration effort was to create a cohesive, simple wayfinding and brand experience for both tenants and patrons.
Working closely with the fabricator, Hi Signs, and the property manager, we designed and produced branded Illuminated monoliths with site mapping and beacon entry systems at main entries that would welcome visitors with concise and straightforward wayfinding.
A neutral three-colour palette was chosen for the application of sizeable reflective aluminum ID numbering that was applied to all three building’s upper fascia corners. The result—unifying building orientation that is easily identified, understood, and reassuring for people looking for services within each particular building.
Phases two and three added illuminated fascia sign systems to 14 tenant units, consisting of 3/4-inch-thick acrylic vinyl graphics, pushed through routed face. A double-sided illuminated landmark pylon was added to draw the attention of motorists at a high exposure intersection where Sprucewoods is located.
Sprucewoods is now a business park with cohesive branding and clear wayfinding, making for a pleasant experience for all who visit.
